Short Rows

Short Rows and Shaping are the foundation of three-dimensional knitting allowing you to create sock-heels and shoulder slopes but so much more. Take a deep dive into the world of short rows (aka Partial Knitting or Holding Stitches). Adding this class will complete your knowledge of working with the main bed of the knitting machine and get you ready for your first garment.

Learn how to calculate short rows to obtain the shapes you want. Manipulate the fabric to create volume, corners, ruffled edges, bumps, curves and pockets.
