This knit-along is an 4-week program from March 31st to April 27th, that covers all the material in the Beginner class.

Participants will receive a workbook with notes and exercises each week, that correspond to the class. There will be a zoom meeting with our instructor, Helen, on April 27th (Saturday) at 10am PST.

Cost: $20. Limited to 40 spots.

Sold out.
Thank you for your support.

Week 1
Getting some knitting on the machine

Picture of E-Wrap on standard gauge machine

We will learn about stitch lengths, and how tension affects the fabric. Plus different cast-on methods, and study their behavior and appearance, so you can pick a preferred method.

Week 2
Alternative ways to start a knitting

We will learn and practice 4 alternate ways to start a piece of knitting. These are great if you want to add a more stable start to your fabric without the ribber attachment.

Week 3
Ways to finish a knitting

Transfer Tool Bind-Off
Demonstration of measuring tension swatch

We are going to practice the transfer tool bind-off, and latch tool bind-off. We will also learn how to make and measure a tension swatch, and how to properly steam and wet finish knitted fabric.

Week 4
Practice project

In the final week, we will use the techniques you have learned into execution, with one of the practice projects included in the final chapter of the class – the big scarf, and neck warmer.
